“Our customers can now have an extension on their cell phones which allows them to answer office calls over 3G, 4G or WiFi networks without using their cell phone minutes,” said Joe Egosi, CTO of JoiBiz.

JoiBiz customers can make and receive calls using a 3-digit extension number from their cell phone, conference other callers or place callers on hold. Callers placed on hold hear the company’s selected music-on-hold while on hold. Also, when a customer makes a call from their extension on their cell phone, the office number shows up on the recipient’s Caller-ID.
“This allows freedom for employees to work from anywhere,” Egosi said. “And with JoiBiz’ voicemail-to-email and voicemail-to-iPhone services, the cell phone becomes an extension of their desk phone.”
